If you are a regular visitor to this sit you might have wondered why I have not updated the blog much recently. Well the answer is that I have been away on a well earned holiday in Norway. Whilst i did take a camera along with me (my trusty GF1) I didn't expect to shoot anything remarkable although you never know. That's why I am so pleased to be sharing this image with you.

I captured this image from the boat I was on and whilst the scenery was wonderful it was the quality of light that I found spectacular. It had a warmth about it that didn't overpower the cool surroundings whilst also having a feeling of softness at the same time. You just have to love soft coastal light.
